Academic integrity
Where the line sits, and why it matters
Writingsprout exists to make research and planning less overwhelming — not to write your assignments for you. Every service we offer is designed to leave the actual writing, thinking, and academic judgment in your hands, because that's the part your institution is assessing.
We provide
- Research assistance and source discovery
- Assignment brief and rubric interpretation
- Research briefs and source lists
- Outlines, structures and planning documents
Why we work this way
Submitting work that isn't genuinely yours can lead to academic misconduct proceedings, invalidated qualifications, and — more importantly — means you miss the chance to actually develop the research and writing skills your course is meant to build. We'd rather help you get there than paper over the gap.
What "planning support" looks like in practice
An outline tells you the order to make your points in — you still write every sentence. A research brief organises the themes and sources in a topic — you still read, evaluate, and decide how to use them. A source list gives you a starting point — you still engage with and cite the material yourself. In every case, the thinking and the words in your final submission are yours.
Sources are never fabricated
Every source we provide is real, verifiable, and linked back to its original publication or DOI. We never invent citations, quotes, or data.
If you're unsure
Academic integrity policies vary by institution. If you're unsure whether a particular kind of support is permitted for a specific assignment, check your institution's policy or ask your instructor before requesting it — we're glad to adjust a request to stay within your institution's rules. Contact us if you have questions.
